Meet Lindsey

I started volunteering with HWCP in 2017 when I helped with the Christmas café.

Since then I have become more involved as my awareness increased of the need for assistance from people who were down on their luck and in challenging times, ranging from living on the street, living in their car and ones that have a roof over their head but nothing left for food, also some have a job but in the current climate are unable to secure a home.

We serve food on the street every week of the year, rain or shine. It brings home just how tough life can be and yet despite that everyone is happy to see us and thank us for their meal and goodies.

I am now a member of the board, helping behind the scenes as we grow as a charity and as part of a team who really care.
